Emmanuel Madan sound artist, composer. Studied composition, Francis Dhomont, Université de Montréal, 1993. Electroacoustic music, acousmatic music, art and technology. Collaborations with poets, filmmakers, video artists, architects, software developers, new technology artists. Current projects involve: exploration, reclamation, and transformation of ambient sound environments and found sounds. Work featured at: international performance, music, and media arts festivals, recordings on Asphodel and Staalplaat. Past projects include: community radio, sound design and original music for film and video, Incredibly Soft Sounds audio installations about lower limits of audibility, member of PRIM Media arts centre, Montréal, researched the Canadian music industry in emerging musical genres for Canadian Radiotelevision and Tele-communications Commission
